He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Frank Schilling and Bertha Morse Schilling; his daughter Ruthi Schilling Young; and his siblings, Frank Schilling and Inez Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Girlinghouse Schilling; his sons, Bobby Schilling and Paul Schilling (Ann); and his grandchildren, Ethan, Baeleigh, Adam, Bryce, Brent and Wade. He is also survived by eight grandsons, two granddaughters; along with six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
