She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Michael Makowsky; her grandchildren, Bradley Makowsky, Katie Makowsky, Paige Makowsky and Josh Makowsky; her husband Samuel Makowsky; her sons, Dale and Ronnie Makowsky; her grandson Matthew Makowsky; her sisters, Gail Childs and Sandra Haynie; her parents, Thurston Childs and Oleta Childs; her close friend Betty Lou Young; and her cousins, Frances Foster and Florence Goyanes. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
