She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton O. Hales; her children, Sharon "Shari" Elizabeth Hales and Richard "Dicky" Allen Hales; her parents, Thomas H. Adams and Lillie Kendrick Adams; her siblings, Dugan Adams, Gene Adams, Charles Adams and Mildred Adams Freeman; and her nephew Doyle Hales.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Johnson of Monroe, LA, Beverly Edwards (Todd) of Crossett, AR, Thomas "Tommy" (Charlotte) of Bastrop, LA, William "Bill" Hales (Rita) of Baskin, LA and Robert "Hoss" Hales (Christy) of Bastrop, LA; her sister Omega Bienz of Collinston, LA; and her grandchildren, Randall Walker, Amanda Walker, Wesley Johnson, Jeremy Defee, Maranda Johnson of Kelsee Hales, B. J, Nikki Holmes, Amanda Crawford, Melissa Thornhill, Jacob Hales, Tyler Hales, Mauri Hales, Amelia Hales, Jesica Fonville and Josh Crawford. She is also survived by thirty-six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
