With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Thompson Matthews of Haughton, Louisiana, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Thompson and Lucile Thompson; her husband Willie John Matthews; her sons, Leonard, Richard and Mickal; her siblings, Terrell and Annie; and her grandsons, Kelly and Shon.

She is survived by: her children, Willie Jr., Daniel, Sarah and Kevin Matthews; her sister Louise Thompson; and her granddaughter Brandy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
