He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Parsons Sr. and Nancy Esther Nation Rippetoe; his stepfather L. T. Rippetoe; his stepbrother Larry Weston Rippetoe; his brothers, Homer Hale of James, L. B. Hale, Troy Hale, Eugene Hale and Duane "Bus" Miller; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Karolyn Parsons; his children, Krystal Fox, Gleena Shearer (Allen), Bradley Parsons (Melanie) and Dustin Parsons; his grandchildren, Andrew Shearer, Emily Shearer, Bridget Shearer, Timothy Fox, Christopher Fox and Matthew Fox; his sister Beverly Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Hale, Carol Hale, Maggie Hale, Therese Sumwalt (Charles), Marolyn Rittenhouse, Nancy Schooley (Jack), Willi Jesmer, Debbie Hale, Gerard Jesmer and Glenn Jesmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Fred's name to: Bossier Kids, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or your favorite charity.
