He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Woodrow Tubbs and Nova D Culver Tubbs; his sister Carolyn Tubbs Butscher; his niece Mary Grace Butscher McCoy; his parents-in-law, L. M. Pollard and Verna M. Pollard; and his close friend Ross Oglesby.

He is survived by: his wife Kathie Pollard; his daughters, Karen Guthrie (Tom), Kimberly Griffin (Chad) and Kristen Rodgers (Josh); his grandchildren, Devin, Tyler, Morgan, Carter, Makenna, Peyton, Wyatt, Brenden and Corey; his great grandchild Leighton; his brother Jerry Lee Tubbs (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Albert Butscher, Janet Pollard Chaney and Patti Pollard Collette.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
