He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ed, Dorothy Sparks of Duncan, OK, Dudley and Mildred Muncy of New Iberia, LA; his father Perry Edgar Sparks of Haughton, LA; and his brother Bryan Edgar Sparks of Bossier City, LA..

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Miriam Sparks; his mother Gloria Muncy Sparks; his brother William Trent Sparks (Leah); and his stepdaughter Erin Rose McKelvey. He is also survived by his two sons and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
