She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton E. Methvin and Willota Hebert; her stepfather Algie Hebert; and her son Larry Todd Pike. She is survived by: her husband Donald G. Murphy; her brothers, Gareth Methvin (Justine) and Reggie Hebert; her daughter Patti Moon (Butch Moon); her stepchildren, Karen Murphy, Joni Murphy (Mark Gross) and Joel Murphy; and her grandchildren, Maureen Gross, Glynn Gross, Jonathan Eubanks, Joseph Eubanks and Brooke Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Haughton, the American Cancer Society, Haughton High School, or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home - in memory of DeLaine Murphy.
