He is survived by: his siblings, Mattie Jo Dalby, Clemmy McAvoy and Ralph McAvoy; his wife Mary Thames McAvoy; his children, David Alan McAvoy, Sr. and Ladan Boudreau; and his grandchildren, David Alan McAvoy, Jr. and Zachary Neil Taylor (Juhree).
