She was predeceased by: her mother Miriam LaFitte Edwards; her brothers, Bobby Newsom and Glenn Edwards; and her son Charles Dwayne Hight. She is survived by: her brothers, Jimmy Edwards of Pleasant Hill, LA and Bruce Edwards of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
