She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Bernard and Erma Bernard; her sisters, Juanita McClimas, Kay Langford and Polly Brown; her husband Marshall Smith; and her son Ronnie Smith.

She is survived by: her daughter Frances Mann; her grandchildren, Jackie Cavanaugh, Jerry Mann and Ryan Smith; and her stepgrandson Arran. She is also survived by eight beautiful great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
