He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Hubert and Katie Stevenson Gardner; and his sister Jo Anne Davis. He is survived by: his sister Martha "Tinker" Gahagan; his sister-in-law Diane (Jimmy Jackson) of Dover, FL; his daughter Kathy (Galan Sanders) of Bossier City; his grandchildren, Merideth of Houston, Ellen (Blake Williams) and Wyatt of Houston; his daughter Terri (Bill Jones) of Bossier City; his grandchild Cameron (Emily); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Oliver and Dorothy of Shreveport; his grandchild K. Gardner (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Greyson, Annika and Cecile of Bossier City; his grandson Tyler Jones of Bossier City; his son Bill Gardner of Fort Worth; and his grandchildren, Will, Suzy of Austin, Garland, Charley of Austin, Sam and Clarissa of Asheville, NC..
