With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Rae Chavis of Haughton, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Marion Howard Chavis; and her children, Donna Faye Chavis and Marion Tyrone Chavis. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Lynn Chavis (Carol), Rebecca Darlene Madrigal (Juan), Anthony Laverne Chavis, James Ray Chavis and Eric Cameron Chavis (Shannon).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Open Road Fellowship Church (780 Bodcau Station Rd, Haughton, LA 71037). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery (2111 W Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508).
