She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Detwiler and Agnes Detwiler; her husband James E. Greathouse (Jim); and her brother Martin Detwiler. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer O'Quinn (Kendall); her grandson William O'Quinn; her son Edward Waddell (Justine); her granddaughters, Hailey Waddell, Kendra Fadaley and Lyndi Waddell; and her stepchildren, Jamie Simonelli (Angelo), Mark Greathouse (Susan) and Scott Greathouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Ellerbe Road Methodist Church in honor of Betty.
