He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Thomas Kenly and Dobsey Louise Martin; his wife Willie Mae Kenly; and his siblings, Willie Earl Kenly of Haughton, Billy Ray Kenly of Snyder, Gerald Wayne Kenly of Shreveport, Vernice Lucille Reddick of Lake Village, Berbia Jean McLemore of Benton and Betty Joe Blackwell of Fairbanks.

He is survived by: his son Danny Kenly (Charlene) of Erwinville, Louisiana; his stepdaughters, Shelia Faye Hamby of Jonesville, Cynthia Lynn Davis (Douglas) of Waskom and Karen Darlene Whitlow (Wright) of Roxboro; and his brothers, John William Kenly of Rayville, Willard Lee Kenly of Fairbanks and Thomas Ivy Kenly of Plain Dealing.
