She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Vowell; her children, Roy Vowell, Jr., Deborah Vallery, Theresa Flores and Linda V. Young; and her stepson David Caraway.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Vowell of Minden, Corey Vowell of Elm Grove, Robert Vowell of New Boston, TX and Barbara F. Ellis of Elm Grove. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great great-grandchildren.
