He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Betty Lou Sylvester; his children, Vanessa Sylvester, Joann Jordan (Gregory), Tiffany Odoms (late Alonzo), Chameka Hayes (Marcus), Shante Sylvester, Walter III (Tanya), Michael (Sharon), Jamal, Janaro (Centrelle), Jarrell Sylvester, Terrance Jackson (Monique), Damaris Jackson (Mercedee), Shaquille, Tamayo, Jabari Sylvester Tucker, Keeva Sylvester and Nicole Sylvester; his parents, Walter Sylvester, Sr. and Gertrude Sylvester; and his siblings, Nora Richardson (Reginald), Geraldine West (Glen), Mildred Davis (late Carline), Earline Crawford (James), Beverly Williams (late Gregory), James (Charlene), Leroy (Jackie) and Joseph Sylvester (Sheriletha). He was also cherished by 32 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
