Brister; his sisters-in-law, Theresa A. Jackson and Thelma B. Bell; his grandparents, Iradell Brown, Mardessa Bickham, Joseph Petite and Coy Bickham; his aunt Hilda Brown; his uncles, Elston, Warren and Roy Brown; his father-in-law Charles H. Brister; his brother-in-law Walter L. Jackson; his godmother Alexis M. Herman; his close friends, Derrick Summrell and Darnell Lee; and his nephew Troy G. Jackson. He was also cherished by his parents, his wife.
