With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Gail Tate of Harvey, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Lloyd R. Tate, Sr. and Lillie Mae Tate; and her siblings, Joseph Tate and Johnell Tate. She is survived by: her child TyKisha Tate; and her siblings, Lloyd, Jr., Walter, Richard, David Tate, Willie Mae Vaughns, Mary Pritchard and JoAnn Steele. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
