He is survived by: his wife Judy Wallace Hebert; his children, Teresa Hopkins (Sam Lagreco) and Carl Hopkins, Jr. (Joann Norman); his grandchildren, Scott Hopkins, Carl Hopkins III, Jonathan Fortmayer, Chelsea Fortmayer and Tesa Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Isabell Hopkins, William Hopkins, Jaxson Hopkins, Gracie Fortmayer, Dustin Raul Appelt, Jr. and Kylie Hopkins; and his brothers, Steven J. Hebert, Ronald J. Hebert and John Gerald Breaud (Troy).
