We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 94, Rose Hargis Gonzales (Harvey, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Elwood John Gonzales Jr.; her daughter Lisa M. Gonzales; her granddaughter Kaitlyn; her brother Joseph Robert "Bob" Hargis; and her parents, Rosa Carbo Hargis and Guy J. Hargis.

She is survived by: her sons, Elwood J. Gonzales III (Casondra), Guy J. Gonzales (Ann) and Eric H. Gonzales (Tina); and her grandchildren, Kathleen, Emily, Alyssa, Andrew, Erica, Ryleigh, Angelique, Courtney and Alex. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Masses or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Christ the King Church.
