He was predeceased by: his child Jevon Jordan; his parents, Cecilo "Joe" and Barbara Fleming Brathwaite; and his brother Victor Brathwaite. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Smith Brathwaite; his children, Darryl Rogelio Brathwaite (Karla), Kentrell Jordan, Vanessa Boyd, Ordeira and Syeda Brathwaite; and his siblings, Muriel Samuels (Earl), Vilma Brathwaite, Orlando Brathwaite (Xena) and Jaime Brathwaite (Nathalie). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
