He was predeceased by: his former wife Elba "Pat" Ruiz Cosgrove; his parents, John Cosgrove and Frances Lutemann Cosgrove; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Frank Taylor, Sr. (Lettie) of Nampa, ID and Carolyn Taylor Lane of Fair Oaks, CA; and his siblings, James, Earl, Imelda, Loretta, Muzetta, Beverly, Clare and Dorothy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
