He was predeceased by: his mother Naomi J. Brooks. He is survived by: his father Roosevelt Brooks; his children, Raymond, Mychilia Melancon, Rachelle and Shanquil Gumbs; and his siblings, Glennis Brooks, Carolyn Eurystthee, Rose Brooks, Tinny Brooks, Connie Poston and Shantell B. Greene. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends.
