He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Sr., Ida Butler, Press, Sr. and Estrella Shorter; and his sibling Rashard Shorter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mila Shorter and Brooklyn Singleton; his mother Ella Shorter; and his siblings, Terrell Peterson, Sherina Coleman Morgan and Nicole Shorter Gipson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
