He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Vicari and Conchetta Castiglione Vicari; his brother Angelo Vicari (Nellie); his daughter Brenda Bourgeois Vicari; and his father-in-law Mandry Bourgeois.
He is survived by: his sister Sara Vicari Jambon (Gerald); his children, Victor Vicari (Theresa), Victoria Vicari Stipelcovich (Jan) and Vanessa (Jason Rothschmitt); his grandchildren, Alexandria, Braden, Brooks and Briggs; his great grandchild Layla; and his stepchildren, Brent, Timothy (Stephanie) and Michelle Scarbrough (Russell).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A masonic service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
Peter was so determined and strong through his 14 years with Parkinson's. Throughout many years of declining changes, in 2020 Peter and Jacquelyn decided it was best for his care to be at home.
