She is survived by: her husband Anthony Joseph Smith; her daughter Angelica Smith Kennard (Brandon); her granddaughter Eliza Gonzalez of Laplace, LA; her siblings, Clarita Raphael (Leonard), Joelle Adam (Henry), Acquanette Roussell (Reginald), Fredricka Calloway (Harry), Christine (Norris), Eva Irving (Howard), Troy Dumas (Connie), Sunniva James, Christy James, Patrice Dumas, April Dumas and Rosalyn Mitchell (Micheal); her stepmother Celeste D. James; her uncle Sterling James Sr. (Jean); her parents-in-law, Rosemary Dumas (Ralph), Irving Smith (Irma), David Smith (Doris), Allen Smith (Veronica), Curtis Smith (Martha), Steven W. Allen Sr. and Gertie Smith; and her aunts, Marie Helen Jeffery, Marie Lois Batiste and Melanie Freeman Dumas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
