He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jordan; his daughter Linda White; his grandson Carl Jordan; his great grandchild Charles Sawyer; his parents, Wilken Milton Jordan and Lola Mae Jimmerson Jordan; his siblings, Mae Ella, Ruby Jean, Wiley, Alton, Lawrence and Henry Jordan; and his father-in-law Gregory Hooper, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Jordan Galloway, Barbara Jordan-Hooper, Terry Jordan, Norma Jordan, Sandra Jordan Mims, Gregory Jordan, Sr., Carolyn Jordan, Thelia Jordan, Otis Jordan, Jr. and Darrell Jordan, Sr.; his great grandchild Amilian Jordan; his siblings, Mary F. Burnett, Mattie Rudd and Roshell Bogan; and his children-in-law, Joann S. Jordan, Lawrence Galloway and Ronald Mims. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (1738 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
