She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Jones, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Simeon and Bernadette Colar Simeon; her brother Willard Simeon; and also Nicolette Thompson Grind.
She is survived by: her children, Jamal Simeon (Lachone) and Jerred Simeon (Letitia); and her siblings, Noel Rivers III and Adrianne Rivers Thompson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a retired ER Administrative Admit Supervisor of Charity Hospital.
