With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Buras (Pigniolo) Tarter (Harvey, Louisiana), born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Denman G. Tarter, Jr.; her sister Fannie Gowell; her great-nephew Tommy J. Daigle III; her parents, Doris P. Gowell and Walter J. Buras; and her stepparent Parker W. Gowell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Cheryl W. Manuel (Albert) and Ann G. Porter (Lynn); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew J. Daigle, Malcolm "Trey" Olds III and Brooklynn W. Plow (Stanley); her stepson Sean Tarter (Jessica); her friends, Mallary Mays and Jimmy Martinez; and also, Gena W. Olds (Malcolm) and Brandy Tarter. She is also survived by several cousins, relatives and devoted friends.
