It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark David Patterson of Harvey, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jeremy Watkins; his parents, William Patterson, Sr. and Mable Roussell Patterson; his grandparents, Rev. Ernest Roussell, Sr. and Beulah Gasper Roussell; and his siblings, Pamela Patterson Byes, Paulette Patterson Zeno, Marsha and Basil Patterson.
He is survived by: his spouse Dimitri Watkins Patterson; his children, Shuntrell Baldwin, Aaron, Brittany Watkins and Joshua Jackson; his grandchildren, Clinton III, Caila, Caitlin Baldwin, Jason Elliott, Janila Watkins, Jarriel Douglas, Jacobly Vedol and Jahiran Johnson; his siblings, Gregory Patterson, Sr. (Kathy), William Patterson (Jackie), Allen Patterson (Adonis), Ken Patterson and Kathy Patterson; his sons-in-law, Clinton Baldwin, Jr. and Robert Johnson, Sr.; and his godmother Ann Roussell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
