He is survived by: his wife Rosa Pignataro Malta; his children, Monica Thurmond (Shawn Peterson) and Luigi Malta; his grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsie Thurmond, Ericka Poole and Giovani Malta; his great grandchildren, Cullen, Brennan and Nora Kate Poole; his pet Bambina; and also Tom Thurmond.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058).
