It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lyons Austin (Harvey, Louisiana), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Austin, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Ledet (Jody), William Austin, II (Gina) and Stephen Austin; her grandchildren, Meghan (Matt), Stephanie (Devon), Marissa (Roberto), Jaysa (Brennan), Stephen, Jr. and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Mya, Riley, Alice, Freya, Gino, Everly, Casper, Ophelia and Enzo; and her sister Lorraine Van Wormer. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
