She was predeceased by: her son Al Coston; her parents, Clarence Rodgers and Margaret Rodgers; and her siblings, Patsy, Letrice Rodgers and Melvina Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Georgina Parker (Lawrence), Lolita Thompson (Roshon) and Joseph Coston (Dekethia); her grandchildren, Tiffany Robinson (Shawn), Emberlyn Coston (Gemond), Gregory Davis, Jr., Narcissia, James Robinson, Alkayla and Kaymichelle Coston; her siblings, Deborah Jones, Dedria Rodgers and Dave Rodgers (Ruby); and her godchildren, Jackie "Max" Davis, II, Frenchie Toussaint and Dianah Hobbs. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
