She was predeceased by: her children, Marie Jenkins Murray and Kimberlyn Woods Dominick; her parents, Matt Weldon and Roszanna Gilmore Weldon; her parents-in-law, Edward Lawrence and Bernice Lawrence; and her siblings-in-law, Charlie "Chuck" (Lynn), Edward Cammon and Claudette Wilson (Curtis).
She is survived by: her husband Walter Woods, Sr.; her children, Lena "Melissa" Petite (Wilbert), Linda Butler (Dave), Andrew, Gregory Weldon (Charlesetta), Janice Parker, Rosetta Winters and Walter Woods, Jr.; her siblings, Shirley Williams and Barbara Jackson; and her brothers-in-law, Perry (Alma), Clint (Debra), James, Lawrence and Danny Cammon. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Israel Baptist Church (1612 Estalote Ave, Harvey, LA 70058). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
