She was predeceased by: her father James Whatley; her son Charles Howard Whatley; her grandmother Nellie Fluker; and her godmother Linda Fluker Garrison. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Whatley; her husband Charles Wells; her siblings, LaTina Whatley and Desmond Whatley; and her children, LaJara and Ja'Marcus Whatley.
