She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll James "C. J."; her sons, Ray Prejean and Daniel Prejean; her grandson Stephen Vix; and her parents, Pearl Oser and George Oser Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Jan Cooper (Jim), Cynthia Voisin, Elaine Vix (Skip), Neil Prejean (Libby) and Luanne Neeb (Dave); and her grandchildren, Josh Cooper (Kelley), Jessi Merlo (Esty), Nicole Cayton, Monique Burnell (Tim), B. J. Prejean, Ashley Arendt (Caleb), Becky Valentino (Chris) and Stephanie Vix.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project in her name would be greatly appreciated.
