She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah Winzy; her child Durand Girod; her grandchild Shamara Girod; her parents, Johnny Penn and Easter Brown Penn; her grandparents, Jimmy Penn and Daisy Whitaker Penn; her sister Anna Lois Clark; and also Robert Girod.
She is survived by: her children, Diane St (Lawrence), Don (Monica), Donell (Chanda), Derell, Deniel Girod (Kawana), Desiree Luke (Wilbert), Danita Williams (Brian), Margaret Gasper, Joseph Vee Dee and Tallensi Jackson; her grandchildren, Leonardo Girod, Ryan Keith Williams I and Ryan Keith Williams II; and her siblings, William Penn, Alzadie Hamilton (Tom), Cathy Hammond, Geraldine Penn, Cornelius, Freddie and Leonard Penn. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
