He was predeceased by: his parent Walter O'Neal, Sr.; and his sibling-in-law Charles. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Gail Hensley Scott; his children, John Scott Jr., April Scott, Wayne Jackson, Ellix Fleming, Carlette Durio (Lonnie), Wayne Fleming, Aletha Harris (Patrick), Dionne Taylor, Laura Marie "Mickey" and Donald Paul; his grandchildren, Kaylan, Khoi, John Scott III, Robert Charles Evans, Jr. and Aniyah Thompson; his parent Freddy Scott; his siblings, Walter O'Neal, Jr. (Leona) and Louvinia Myles (Tody); and his siblings-in-law, Pastor Dianne Hensley, Lawrence, Pleasant, Jr. (Carolyn), David, Rene, Milton Hensley, Elaine Paul (Albert), Clarence, Laura Hensley and Patricia Fleming. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
