He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Neeb Ehret and Julius James Ehret; and his siblings, Julius "J. B." Ehret, Barrett Ehret, Sr., Claire Delger, Amy Biri and Blanche Charbonnet.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Senac Ehret (Mikie); his daughter Susan Ehret Bradshaw; his son-in-law Bryant of Sealy; and his grandsons, Samuel Wyatt and Zachary Lane Bradshaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
