He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Audrey Ledet Casso; his sons, Jerry "Michael" (Carolyn) and Jay Joseph (Annette); his grandchildren, Paul Griffin (Courtney), Christina (Demond), Julie (Tevyn), Joseph and Holly; his great grandchildren, Alora, Everly Cagins, Gianna, Jolie LaSalle and River Griffin; his parents, Laura Gonzales Casso and Morris J. Casso, Sr.; his stepfather Clarence Bonvillian; and his siblings, Gertrude Funel (Warren), Eunice, Ruby Guidry Faroldi (Joe), Morris Casso, Jr. (Magdeline), Hattie Brashears (Jack) and Lloyd Casso (Whilhelminia). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
