It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry A. Valdez of Harvey, Louisiana, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy Duran Valdez; his children, Elias Jerry Valdez, Arla Frederic (Charlie), Cheryl LeBlanc (Steve), Gina Fay (Tommy) and Paul Valdez (Shelly); and his sisters, Viola R. Valdez and Loretta Cardnes Worthington. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
