With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Vincent Jr. of Harvey, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his son Josiah Paul Vincent; his parents, James Vincent, Sr. and Sarah Vincent; and his siblings, Shirley Williams, Sarah Lee Green, Joetta Carter, Mack Arthur Vincent and Jonathan Vincent.
He is survived by: his children, James Vincent III, Parris Darnell Vincent, Allan Frazier Vincent, Jael Marie Vincent and Michael Tyrone Williams; his siblings, Rosemay Scieneaux, Yvonne Vincent and Dr. Bobby Vincent; and his child-in-law Robyn Vincent. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
