He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ernest Scott Sr. and Doretha Brown Scott; and his sibling Celestine Scott. He is survived by: his stepfather Joseph C. Jones; his wife Bernice McCrackins Scott; his children, Tristan (Sylvia), Henri, Vashawn, Valisha Scott and Henriska Williams (Bryan); his stepchildren, Willie (Kameisha) and Willis Coleman (Mattie); his siblings, Theo, Glenn Gutter, Carolyn Scott Carter, Desiree Jones and Herman Verette Jr.; and his sister-in-law Brenda Hackworth. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friend.
