She was predeceased by: her husband John Francis Murphy, Jr.; her daughter Karen Lynn Murphy; and her parents, Ulysses Joseph Trosclair, Jr. and Helen Rigaud Trosclair. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer M. Winters (Robert), Timothy M., Vicki M. Boyd (Laurance) and John Kevin Murphy; and her grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Jimmy Brown, Ann Marie Murphy, Laurance Murphy Boyd and Laura Boyd. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Always an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and fitness walker, Helen was a treasure to her family and friends, and will be forever and fondly remembered as a model of faith, hope, charity, devotion, and love to her children and grandchildren.
