She was predeceased by: her children, Patsy Costales Landry and Johnny Patrick Costales; and her grandchildren, Lisa Pfaff Crosby and John Patrick Costales. She is survived by: her husband John Vincent Costales; and her children, Tommy Costales (Teena), Julie Costales, Joyce Peterson (Keith), Jenny "Carol" Vallot, Magaly "Maggie" Aviles-Costales and Ana "Liz" Dufrene (Grant). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
