We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2021, at the age of 80, Gene Joseph Portier Sr. of Harvey, Louisiana, born in Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Bergeron Portier and Cyril Joseph Portier, Sr.; and his brother Cyril Portier, Jr. (Beverly). He is survived by: his wife June Dell Gros Portier; his children, Gladys Eva Portier (Harold Gabriel) and Gene Portier, Jr.; his grandchildren, Megan Portier and Jacob Portier; his siblings, Robert Portier (late Camille), Harry Portier (Vanessa), Raymond Portier, Patricia Dufrene (Gary) and Larry Portier (Sarah); and his daughter Dupre. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
