She is survived by: her children, David E. Messenger, Janice M. Messenger, Harold W. Messenger, Jr. and Suzanna C. Messenger; and her siblings, Ruby Mae Jones, Johnny R. Kirksey, Jr., David W. Kirksey, Helton R. Gentry, Jerry C. Gentry and Mary Elizabeth Kirksey. She is also survived by many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.
