Frances Bergeron Bruce Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Bergeron Bruce (Harvey, Louisiana), who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Anthony Bruce; her parents, Althea Bergeron, and Lauze Bergeron, Sr.; and her sibling Lauze Bergeron, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Janet DePhillips, Sheri Buras (David) and Dannell Tassin (Bernard); her siblings, Beverly Morvant and Gwendolyn Comeaux; her sister-in-law Sheila Bergeron; her grandchildren, Clyde DePhillips III (Brandi), Alexander Buras, Lindsey Tassin and Evan Tassin; and her great grandchildren, Chase and Brody DePhillips. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Second Harvest food bank or the charity of your choice.
