It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estella Lewis Billiot Melancon (Harvey, Louisiana), who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Chief John Billiot; her daughter Karen B. Huetwohl; her son-in-law Greg Chapman; and her great grandchild Emma Rose Chapman. She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Chapman and Jeanne Vinet; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Chapman, Lloyd "Chip" Chapman (Robin), Joshua Michael Chapman, Holly Bryan (Justin), Sara Wolever, Rickie James Vinet, III and Katie Nuccio (Anthony). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
